We've been staying at Welaka Lodge for several years and for us it's pretty near heaven....nice, clean, comfortable and well-appointed cottages....sorta like home away from home. Jessica and Kevin Finch are great folks and really on top of their game of providing all their guests with a pleasant vacation experience. Jacuzzi tubs, heated AND cooled swimming pool....good restaurant within a 2 block walk. Covered boat slips....St John's River in your backyard....Hey, how good can it get!!!
Great place to getaway and relax on the St. John's river! Fishing is great too!
Nice clean mature campground. Sites have established trees, new picnic tables and friendly neighbors. Many are long term tenants that love to chat. Cute cottages also available.
Enjoyed sitting down by the water having a glass of wine. Friendly staff. Snacks were on the house. Was only there for the day of drinks. Food was the next day. Been there for that in the past. Food good, reasonable prices.
